OUR ENDORSEMENT

IYD is proud to endorse extraordinary Democratic candidates for state and local offices in Indiana. Our mission is to elect candidates who represent our shared Democratic values and advocate for what’s best for all Hoosiers.

Support is offered to candidates based in part on the responses to their application questionnaire, a potential interview with the Endorsement Committee, and the Committee and Board’s collective approval.

With such a consequential election, IYD is ready to jump in the fight and for the first time ever endorse candidates in contested primary elections.

SUBMIT APPLICATION

Help increase the number of elected democrats

One of the most integral parts of our mission will always be to elect candidates who represent our shared Democratic values and advocate for what’s best for all Hoosiers.  Resources available for allocation vary depending on a variety of factors.

SUPPORTED CANDIDATES

Designation as an IYD supported candidate shall involve recognition as a candidate that has identified as most representative of our combined interests. Support includes general promotion of campaign activities through social media and a Day of Action organized by a respective IYD local chapter.

ENDORSED CANDIDATES

Designation as an IYD endorsed candidate shall involve the eligibility to receive financial support via a campaign contribution/fundraising sponsorship in addition to the benefits of being recognized as a supported candidate mentioned above. Financial support levels will vary depending on a given year’s budget.
