Pete Buttigieg inspired young people across the nation in his 2020 presidential bid.  As the first openly LGBTQ+ candidate to be a major contender, he proved that young people are ready to lead in the modern era.

Andre Carson was one of the first two Muslim Americans to become a US representative.  Following in the legacy of his mother, Julia Carson, he has been a champion of vulnerable populations and as a fighter for accessibility.

We couldn’t accomplish that without celebrating our diversity and fostering a safe environment of inclusion.
